Pot Stirrer | Harley: 1994 - 2009 Barb and I said our final goodbyes to our loyal friend Harley a couple of days ago down at the parent's place in Summerland. 15 years of shredding the awesome singletrack of BC was enough, and she wasn't enjoying the world any longer. Sterling Lorence 2000 I know that she was a not everyone's favourite dog. I mean, lets face it, she had a bit of an attitude and kind of freaked a few people out, but she was still my friend and the best riding partner anyone could ever hope for. For those of you that have scars from her (usually a result of some evil trick involving throwing a stick for her), I hope you can forgive her and remember her as an example of what it means to be stoked about living. Your fingers didn't matter to her, just hurry up and throw the stick already! One day, we'll get another dog, but Harley will never be replaced. Truly a one of a kind.

Dogs are truly the most amazing companions, they just never stop loving, they're always there for you, and ask for so very little in return. The hardest part of owning a dog is knowing that you will outlive it, but they give you so much that it's easy to overlook that.

Harley was a great character and friend, even though I've had a reasonable gash on my bicep that suggests otherwise (I knew Harley well before AND Smoke warned me!). She sure knew how to protect your vehicle and play a good game of stick. Harley will truly be remembered as a big part of the riding scene in BC. Thanks for all of the great memories. Registered User | Sorry to hear that Johnny. She nipped at my heels a few times, I think it was my woolen riding shorts... RIP Harley. ..And God said, "No problem! Because I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG."
